Bahia in Nayarit is an exposed reef break that has very reliable surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west northwest. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for rocks, rips.
